Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Convert signed agreements and client specifications into a well-structured and sequenced delivery plan.

• Establish milestones, highlight the critical path, and oversee dependencies related to hardware procurement, software configuration, airline onboarding, and go-live.

• Anticipate blockers, escalate issues when necessary, and resolve them proactively to prevent delays.

• Oversee the complete delivery process in AeroCloud’s project delivery platform, ensuring that tasks, milestones, approvals, and status accurately reflect the current situation.

• Serve as the daily point of contact for each airport during the implementation phase.

• Set clear expectations, communicate potential risks and delays, and manage changes in scope effectively.

• Foster confidence among airport operations, IT, and procurement stakeholders.

• Assist in commercial discussions that involve delivery change orders, timeline negotiations, and acceptance criteria.

• Ensure alignment and accountability among engineering, product, hardware logistics, airline onboarding, and support teams.

• Conduct structured standups and progress reviews; maintain thorough, up-to-date, and useful documentation and task tracking.

• Collaborate with the UK-based delivery leadership team across different time zones.

• Acquire a practical understanding of integrations involving cloud services, airport infrastructure, networking, hardware, airline DCS connectivity, and peripheral devices.

• Engage with airport IT and technical stakeholders regarding networking, endpoint configuration, Windows imaging, firewall rules, and operational dependencies.

• Identify technical dependencies and implementation risks early and provide context for engineering solutions.

• Maintain project plans, risk registers, change logs, and meeting documentation.

• Ensure that all documentation is complete and approved prior to UAT and go-live.

• Manage the transition from implementation to BAU support, including briefing the support team and confirming the asset register.

• Lead post-implementation reviews and incorporate lessons learned into the delivery methodology.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering complex technology implementations on schedule and within scope in client-facing positions.

• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups simultaneously, including technical teams, commercial contacts, and operational users.

• Strong technical literacy to comprehend infrastructure and software deployments, even without an engineering background.

• Firm adherence to project governance, task management, status reporting, and delivery tools.

• Effective prioritization skills in fast-paced environments with multiple projects and competing deadlines.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in follow-through.

• Comfortable working remotely with a distributed team, ensuring regular communication across US/UK time zones.

• Willingness to travel to airport locations across the US as necessary.

• Experience in aviation, airport technology, or transportation infrastructure.

• Background in SaaS or managed services delivery.

• Familiarity with common use airport systems (CUPPS, CUSS, SSBD) or airline DCS environments.

• Experience in delivering hardware-led programs encompassing logistics, onsite installation, and commissioning.

• Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory if your experience is strong.

• Experience collaborating with infrastructure, networking, or endpoint management teams.
