Project Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire project life cycle from pre-sales to implementation and project handover.

• Ensure successful project delivery in alignment with customer requirements, quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.

• Collaborate with relevant sub-contractors and foster effective working relationships.

• Conduct pre-start meetings on-site with all pertinent stakeholders.

• Guarantee the creation of a comprehensive health and safety plan for on-site management.

• Track project progress and identify any deviations from the project baseline.

• Provide regular updates on all relevant project information.

• Represent Legrand Care in a professional manner during meetings or visits with both internal and external clients and contacts.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ensure that systems are installed according to the latest standards.

• Confirm that equipment is fully commissioned and installed with a high level of craftsmanship.

• Plan and forecast project needs effectively.

• Perform site inspections as required.

• Broaden the sub-contractor portfolio, ensuring that contractors possess the necessary qualifications and training.

• A valid full driving license and willingness to travel within the UK.

• Flexibility in working hours when away from the office.

• Relevant industry knowledge (desirable).

• Knowledge of electrical installations (desirable).

• SSSTS qualification (desirable).

• IOSH Managing Safely certification (desirable).

• Experience in supervising installations (desirable).
