This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Develop or update Operational Specification Documents to articulate client needs for clinical studies.
• Generate or modify tailored test requisitions, laboratory manuals, and specifications for collection kits.
• Act as the point of contact for Sponsors and Contract Research Organizations to ensure effective communication and adherence to timelines.
• Participate in internal and external meetings as a Subject Matter Expert during Project Initiation.
• Provide progress reports to Project Management and Client Services leadership regarding setup advancement.
• Convert client requirements into actionable steps for effective problem-solving and resolution of issues.
• Analyze project-specific budgets.
• Collaborate with internal departments to aid in database setup and convey study requirements.
• Coordinate with colleagues to verify the completion of setup-related activities.
• Support project-specific training initiatives for internal personnel.
• Guide and train new team members.
• Develop or supervise the creation of training materials, templates, job aids, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Undertake additional related responsibilities that support departmental and organizational objectives.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a recognized four-year college or university with a minimum of 3 years of experience in setup-related and/or project management.
• Alternatively, an associate's degree (A.S.) with 5–6 years of experience in a central laboratory or related clinical field, including at least 3 years in setup-related and/or project management roles.
• A combination of education and experience may be considered as a substitute for the specified qualifications.
• Prior experience in customer service.
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Clinical Research, Central Lab, and/or Project Management experience outside of LabConnect will also be taken into account.
• Strong attention to detail, effective planning, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficient listening and verbal comprehension skills, particularly in translating client requirements to team members.
• Capable of making well-considered decisions and adapting to evolving environments and requirements.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Competency in adhering to established timelines, processes, and procedures.
• Skills in customer service and client relationship management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and technical guidelines.
• Capability to compose business correspondence and procedural manuals.
• Proficient in presenting information and addressing questions from managers and clients.
• Ability to perform calculations and manage budgets effectively.
• Capacity to apply mathematical concepts to clinical trial budget management and metrics analysis.
• Ability to resolve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Skill in interpreting written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based instructions.
• Ability to perform extensive computer-based desk work and use headphones for conference calls.
• Proficient in communicating effectively via phone, video, and email.
• Minimal travel required.
