
Project Coordinator – Cybersecurity Campaigns

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the coordination and implementation of the CyberCARE federal cybersecurity awareness initiative from the initial planning stages to the final publication.
• Maintain and manage project plans, schedules, tracking documents, master schedules, deliverable logs, review trackers, and distribution records.
• Monitor the production, review, approval, and release of videos, e-blasts, knowledge assessments, polls, surveys, infographics, digital signage assets, and physical posters.
• Distribute materials to stakeholders, track their feedback and revision cycles, and ensure final approvals are obtained.
• Organize Section 508 compliance reviews prior to publication.
• Manage video production timelines, milestones, and final YouTube links for integration into campaign channels.
• Collaborate with intranet and digital signage teams regarding homepage tiles, signage assets, kiosk materials, and posters.
• Schedule engagement posts and webpage updates following the weekly campaign schedule.
• Monitor and manage the program resource mailbox, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
• Provide support for meeting scheduling and logistics, including agendas, notes, and action items.
• Prepare status updates and project documentation for stakeholders.
• Assist with other communications for the Awareness and Training Program throughout the program year.
• Operate under the guidance of a program or project manager to ensure that campaign activities and deliverables are completed on time.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, marketing support, communications, campaign management, or a related field.
• Internship, coursework, or academic project experience in coordination, communications, or campaign support will be considered in lieu of professional experience.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to track multiple concurrent deliverables and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the capability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Ability to adhere to established processes and workflows for content review, approval routing, and publication coordination.
• Strong attention to detail, with the capacity to identify gaps, track open items, and follow through to resolution.
• Willingness to learn and implement federal accessibility standards, including Section 508 compliance requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting under the guidance of a program or project manager.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
• Preferred: Previous internship or work experience in supporting a marketing, communications, or awareness campaign.
• Preferred: Experience in marketing campaigns, including internship or student roles.
• Desired: Familiarity with project management concepts, tools, or methodologies, including basic scheduling and task tracking.
• Desired: Exposure to or interest in cybersecurity awareness, federal communications programs, or government IT environments.
• Desired: Familiarity with Microsoft Viva Engage, SharePoint, or similar enterprise collaboration and communication platforms.
• Desired: Experience with or interest in digital marketing, content management, or multi-channel communications campaigns.
• Desired: Familiarity with Microsoft Forms or similar survey and engagement tools.
• Desired: Exposure to plain language writing principles or federal communications standards.
• Desired: Coursework or certification in project management, marketing, or communications, such as CAPM, Google Project Management Certificate, or HubSpot Content Marketing Certification.
