This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee small-scale projects while receiving guidance or direct supervision from Managers.
• Evaluate resource requests for any discrepancies and discuss them with the Supervisor.
• Assist in the effective use of Smartsheet.
• Keep project status updated and well-maintained.
• Create and structure project plans efficiently.
• Develop, document, maintain, and revise project-related materials.
• Act as the main point of contact for assigned projects, coordinating with vendors, OCHIN, clients, and external partners for interface implementation.
• Organize and lead meetings, preparing agendas, documenting notes, and tracking follow-up actions.
• Identify and manage risks and issues, formulate mitigation strategies, communicate project status, and negotiate adjustments in scope, resources, and timelines.
• Elevate risks and issues to OCHIN leadership as necessary.
• Support Managers and Project Coordinators in both internal and external projects.
• Schedule project meetings and allocate resources effectively.
• Refresh and create departmental documentation as needed.
• Organize and facilitate scoping meetings to assist technical resources.
• Offer operational support for the implementation of changes in project management and scoping processes.
• Collaborate on team process enhancements and identify opportunities for process and quality improvements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster relationships with OCHIN members.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in project management or coordination.
• Project Management training is advantageous.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Working knowledge or proficient experience with Smartsheet, MS Project, or other project management applications.
• Epic certification and/or NextGen is highly desirable.
• Experience in Ambulatory or Acute Care Clinical Operations is strongly preferred.
• Background in healthcare or IT is required.
• Preferred experience in Epic hospital implementations.
• Successful completion of a 50–60-minute competency assessment prior to the team interview.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required as a condition of employment, unless a medical or religious exemption is approved.
