This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Address key stakeholder inquiries via email and provide timely responses.
• Assist eligible beneficiaries seeking information about current grant programs.
• Collaborate with Research and Data Analysts to generate monthly reports and pinpoint issues affecting monthly or quarterly reporting.
• Follow up with the Immigration Services Technical Assistance team to help with technical inquiries from key stakeholders.
• Offer reporting technical assistance, resources, and retraining to key stakeholders as necessary.
• Provide administrative support to the Program Manager.
• Organize meeting times effectively.
• Take meeting minutes during the Program Manager’s absence or vacation.
• Format, publish, record, and distribute reports and documents to key stakeholders.
• Assist the Program Manager in adhering to specific deadlines.
• Help with project planning and documentation tasks.
• Ensure effective communication among relevant parties.
• Coordinate and oversee volunteers or interns as required.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel) and Data Management Systems.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Access, and Excel or similar applications.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Basic accounting knowledge and capability to maintain accurate financial records.
• Skill in performing calculations involving figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Ability to apply fundamental algebra concepts.
• Competency in solving practical problems and interpreting written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled instructions.
• Understanding of executive administrative office functions, operations, practices, and procedures.
• Knowledge of data collection and organization methods.
• Familiarity with effective record-keeping techniques.
• Proficient in preparing, editing, and proofreading business letters and reports.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, access to an automobile, insurance, and a willingness to travel to off-site locations.
• Ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds, experiences, personalities, sites, and conditions.
• Genuine passion for immigrant and farm worker rights.
• Prior experience working with the Latino community is preferred.
