Program Manager – AVEVA PI System

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of various projects and task orders that support vital infrastructure, operational technology, and data modernization efforts.

• Manage the program's scope, timeline, budget, risks, quality, and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Act as the main point of contact between clients, technical teams, and corporate leadership.

• Build and sustain trusted relationships with both commercial and academic clients.

• Coordinate teams comprising engineers, cybersecurity experts, and subject matter authorities.

• Propel operational excellence through effective planning, metrics analysis, resource management, and quality assurance methodologies.

• Discover ways to enhance customer value through innovative technology solutions and strategic consulting.

• Assist in the development of proposals and support business development initiatives.

• Play a role in defining future offerings in operational technology, industrial data systems, cybersecurity, AI-driven analytics, and digital resilience.

• Guide team members and promote technical proficiency, accountability, and ongoing learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Energy Systems, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing technical programs and projects that involve the PI System.

• Proven track record in managing project budgets, timelines, and client relationships.

• Experience in leading cross-functional technical teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Background in supporting critical infrastructure, utilities, energy, or industrial clients.

• Capability to translate technical ideas into business and mission-related outcomes.

• Willingness to travel as necessary, up to 10%.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and/or an equivalent AI solution approved by the organization.

• Preferred: PMP certification.

• Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering Management, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Preferred: Experience in Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), SCADA, or industrial data platforms.

• Preferred: Understanding of cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, cloud solutions, data analytics, AI, or digital twins.

• Eligibility for security clearance may be necessary for certain roles; security clearances are generally granted only to U.S. citizens.
