Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Monitor, evaluate, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as hit ratios, premium growth, loss ratios, claims trends, and retention.

• Leverage data insights to shape strategy and minimize risk.

• Supervise the development, review, and ongoing enhancement of policies and forms.

• Review and handle referrals or exceptions, encompassing non-renewals and cancellations.

• Examine claims and loss reports to pinpoint trends and areas needing attention.

• Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor across various departments.

• Offer guidance, insights, and approvals for materials aimed at customers.

• Foster and manage relationships with carriers.

• Identify the most suitable carriers and lead ongoing communication to sustain, improve, and expand program offerings.

• Design and enhance sales and support processes, which include distribution strategies, technology platforms, account management, accounting, and compliance with surplus lines.

• Recognize and implement AI-driven solutions, including generative AI, to boost efficiency and decision-making.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Marketing Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth program execution.

• Create business cases and executive summaries to sway strategic decisions and align leadership.

• Execute other tasks as requested, directed, or assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in the insurance sector.

• Solid understanding of underwriting principles, claims, program management, and relationships with carriers.

• Proficiency in insurance platforms, data analysis tools, and emerging technologies.

• Experience utilizing generative AI to enhance efficiency and support program development.

• Professional insurance designations such as CPCU, ASLI, or equivalent are highly valued.

• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external partners.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business development skills.

• Demonstrated success in driving growth, optimizing performance, and facilitating program adoption.
