This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer administrative assistance for NKF Professional Membership, Professional Education/CME, and the NKF Spring Clinical Meetings.
• Help in arranging healthcare professionals for planning meetings, podcast recordings, and associated activities.
• Manage monthly reporting for the team.
• Organize content calendars and postings for NKF’s NephPros social media platforms.
• Oversee and respond to customer service inquiries through the Salesforce service queue.
• Aid in timelines and processes for the annual NKF Spring Clinical Meetings.
• Support financial operations, including vendor payments and volunteer reimbursements.
• Coordinate the collection of necessary CME speaker documentation.
• Keep accurate program rosters and faculty information.
• Assist in the distribution and monitoring of the CE peer review process.
• Create monthly CE activities in the Professional Education Resource Center (PERC).
• Provide editorial workflow assistance to the Journal of Nephrology Social Work.
• Offer technical support for virtual events, including Project ECHO sessions, podcast recordings, and member calls.
• Execute additional tasks as necessary.
• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• A minimum of two to three years of relevant office administrative experience is preferred.
• Prior experience in supporting healthcare professionals is advantageous.
• Experience in project management or coordination is desired.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail along with a high level of accuracy and organization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to provide a high standard of customer service.
• Proficient in word processing.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook Calendar.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities under deadlines and pressure.
• Highly resourceful team player, able to work effectively alone.
• Willingness for annual business travel once a year.
• Unquestionable integrity and trustworthiness, exhibiting tact, discretion, and professionalism.
• Ability to maintain effectiveness in high-pressure situations.
• Competent in using standard office equipment such as telephones, personal computers, fax machines, and photocopiers.
• Willingness for moderate overnight business travel, potentially including weekends.
