This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Develop and facilitate both virtual and in-person programs tailored for college student participants.
• Oversee monthly virtual events, encompassing session planning, scheduling, technology arrangements, coordination with external speakers and facilitators, and communication with participants.
• Act as the primary contact for a cohort of 100 Voyagers, monitoring their engagement.
• Assist in program design and curriculum development utilizing DMEL data while staying updated on higher education trends.
• Offer personalized support to participants, including guidance, progress tracking, and weekly newsletters.
• Address participant challenges in collaboration with the Deputy Director.
• Aid in vendor selection processes, conducting interviews, managing contracts, invoicing, budget reconciliation, onboarding, and partner relations.
• Support the recruitment process for Voyagers, handling applications, selections, registrations, and announcements.
• Oversee cross-team workflows, event logistics, forms, contracts, travel arrangements, communications, scheduling, technology, and post-event activities.
• Assist in event facilitation and enhancing cohort community engagement.
• Contribute to the development of evaluation materials, analyze impact data, create stakeholder reports and visual presentations, and document impact stories.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Report to the Deputy Director and work collaboratively with Associates, Senior Associates, and cross-functional teams.
• 2-3 years of experience in designing curriculum and facilitating leadership development or scholarship programs for young changemakers in both virtual and in-person formats.
• Proven experience in providing tailored support and career guidance to students.
• Capability to create environments where students can foster community and build trusting relationships.
• Experience in reviewing and scoring applications with a focus on equitable evaluation criteria and processes.
• Proficient in collecting, analyzing, and visualizing program metrics using DMEL frameworks.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Experience collaborating with various partners and stakeholders.
• Skilled in managing complex operational workflows, vendor procurement, contracts, event planning, and basic budget reconciliation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective team collaboration skills.
• Proficient in using digital media tools.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evening sessions once a month.
