Professional Services Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct both live and virtual technical presentations at veterinary practices, local and regional meetings, conferences, and veterinary educational institutions.

• Collaborate with Dechra field teams during customer visits, offering technical knowledge and facilitating educational initiatives, such as lunch-and-learn sessions.

• Aid in the creation and execution of training programs for Sales and other internal departments.

• Participate in the development and assessment of scientific and technical resources alongside cross-functional portfolio teams.

• Act as a representative for Dechra at veterinary conferences and industry gatherings.

• Keep abreast of advancements in veterinary medicine, emerging research, and pertinent therapeutic areas.

• Establish and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other veterinary professionals.

• Analyze and interpret veterinary literature and scientific advancements.

• Function as a knowledgeable ambassador for Dechra, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or a comparable veterinary qualification.

• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in companion animal practice.

• An active veterinary license in good standing.

• Valid U.S. driver's license.

• Exceptional presentation and public speaking abilities, including the capacity to facilitate technical discussions and address clinical inquiries.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong skills in interpersonal communication, relationship-building, and collaboration.

• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

• Ability to operate independently while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Comfortable working in a field-based and remote setting.

• Willingness and capability to travel extensively, including overnight trips up to 75% of the time.
