This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage integrations in both directions between customer source systems, Gigawatt, and external platforms.
• Design and develop outbound connectors and APIs, which include GraphQL, batch, webhooks/hooks, Kafka, and event streams.
• Define and refine a reusable connector framework along with portable integration patterns.
• Personally design, construct, and strengthen Boomi processes, Kafka/GoldenGate CDC, REST and GraphQL, batch, and event APIs.
• Oversee source-to-target and target-to-source data mapping while establishing data validation protocols.
• Implement triggers, handshakes, monitoring, alerting, reconciliation, and exception management.
• Onboard integrations to utility systems such as CIS/billing, meter data and MDM, outage, and clearinghouse systems.
• Eliminate cross-module integration barriers and schedule connector work in alignment with the roadmap.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and customer enterprise-integration teams on interfaces, access, testing, and platform priorities.
• Recruit and mentor integration engineers while creating scalable standards and reusable assets.
• Deliver a reusable connector/API framework, dependable outbound flows, stable inbound integrations, automated two-way feeds, and a proficient integration team.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing enterprise integrations that both ingest from and publish to external systems.
• Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs, webhooks and events, batch, change-data-capture, and ETL.
• Capability to personally create integrations rather than solely directing them.
• Proven history of designing reusable connectors and APIs utilized by other systems and platforms.
• Proficiency in Boomi or a similar iPaaS, Kafka/Confluent, CDC tools like GoldenGate, along with strong SQL skills.
• Experience ensuring production integration reliability, including triggers, handshakes, monitoring, alerting, reconciliation, and exception management.
• Background in integrating complex enterprise or utility systems, including customer/billing, meter/interval usage, MDM, and outage systems.
• Ability to analyze data models and master data effectively.
• Player-coach leadership experience in setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and developing a small team while remaining hands-on.
• Consulting, systems-integration, or vendor-side experience in delivering integrations for demanding enterprise clients.
• Strong communication skills for direct collaboration with customer integration teams.
• Demonstrated ownership, problem diagnosis, option generation, execution, cooperation, and comfort with uncertainty.
• Nice to have: Experience with Oracle CC&B/CCS, MV90, MDM/head-end, OMS, clearinghouse, EDI, retail-choice/market flows, event-driven architecture, GraphQL platform APIs, entity/data-model design, downstream data/analytics/regulatory outputs, or establishing an integration practice.
