Professional Services Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted consultant to clients while integrating Illumio into their systems.

• Oversee the deployment and upgrades of the Illumio platform, coordinating timelines and resources.

• Perform technical assessments and assist in the preparation for changes.

• Create Illumio-specific API scripts for service deployment, monitoring, and management tasks.

• Offer best practices, documentation, and recommendations for optimization.

• Prepare and keep project documentation up to date.

• Collaborate with teams in IT Security, Security Tooling, and Security Operations.

• Monitor and troubleshoot deployments, resolving anomalies and performance challenges.

• Act as the main point of contact between client teams and Illumio's product and support teams.

• Provide metrics and reports on deployment effectiveness.

• Assist internal teams with integration documentation and the development of security rulesets and policies.

• Facilitate platform testing and validation for client service teams.

• Conduct knowledge transfer and product training sessions for client teams.

• Complete necessary administrative documentation, including timesheets and weekly reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in consulting or advisory roles.

• Strong proficiency with Linux, ideally CentOS/Red Hat, and Windows Server platforms.

• Experience with cloud computing service models such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.

• Familiarity with container platform architectures like Kubernetes or OpenShift.

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.

• In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, including network flows, protocols, and application security controls.

• Capability to identify and resolve issues in unfamiliar technological environments.

• Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies and new tools.

• Experience in client-facing roles, conflict resolution, and project management.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.

• Broad understanding of IT infrastructure.

• Quick to assimilate new product knowledge and apply it in customer environments.

• Technical proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.

• Willingness to travel to Silicon Valley headquarters for product training and knowledge enhancement.

• Previous experience with Illumio is not necessary; training will be provided.
