
Professional Practice and Student Wellbeing – Online Facilitation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Offer expert guidance to a cohort of 25–30 online learners
• Assist students with their academic writing, research, and time management abilities
• Conduct one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions
• Direct students to pertinent reference materials
• Evaluate assessments and provide comprehensive feedback
• Oversee discussion forums
• Deliver proactive, timely, and personalized support for student inquiries and challenges
• Engage with students via email, phone calls, and online sessions
• Facilitate online education for participants in the Masters of Teaching-Primary program
• Assist students in their professional practice, ethical behavior, communication, interpersonal skills, wellbeing, and readiness for professional placements
• Doctoral qualification or Master's Degree in Teaching and/or a relevant discipline area, or equivalent accreditation and standing
• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent teaching, research, and/or professional experience in primary/secondary education within the last 5 years
• Familiarity with teacher education policies and practices
• Valid Teacher’s Registration in Australia; VIT preferred, QCT or NSW acceptable
• Proficient in English
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Empathetic, ambitious, warm, and outgoing demeanor
• Openness to working closely with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Access to a functional laptop
• Reliable high-speed internet connection (>10 MBPS)
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize technology platforms, including the host university’s LMS and LINC trac
• Availability from 5 pm to 10 pm AEST daily
• Scheduled availability on weekends
• Competitive fixed remuneration of up to $6350 for a group of 25 students
• Additional compensation for larger groups
