Production Service Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Safely, accurately, and efficiently deploy essential software, metadata, network, and platform modifications across global networks.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges to ensure platform stability.

• Identify, design, and implement enhancements to operational processes that optimize change safety and operational efficiency.

• Enhance internal tools, monitoring alerts, operational procedures, and technical documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Subject Matter Experts.

• Isolate software and platform defects and formulate long-term technical solutions.

• Ensure the stability, safety, and high availability of global network infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing Linux/Unix systems in large-scale content distribution environments.

• Proven experience in monitoring, administering, and troubleshooting high-availability platform environments.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting languages, including Python, Bash, and Shell.

• Familiarity with core networking technologies and internet protocols, such as TCP/IP, WAN, and DNS.

• Capability to collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to identify root issues/bugs and implement effective solutions.

• Proficient in prioritizing tasks, making informed decisions, and addressing problems in a dynamic and evolving environment.
