This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Participate in the planning and execution of diverse events throughout the Village
• Handle administrative responsibilities such as managing expenses, invoices, emails, meetings, and homerooms
• Perform site assessments
• Develop budgets, create room layouts, and compile equipment inventories
• Procure necessary equipment
• Arrange labor schedules
• Set up event-related equipment
• Organize PowerPoint presentations
• Oversee freelance staff
• Operate technical equipment
• Facilitate presentations
• Dismantle equipment post-events
• Process invoices for labor
• Charge back various departments
• Finalize jobs within the system
• Mentor and guide team members
• Develop documentation of best practices
• Identify areas for enhancement and collect feedback from partners
• Provide instructions, direct activities, and assess outcomes
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• High School Diploma
• Proficiency in AV Systems
• Understanding of AV Procedures
• Familiarity with Vectorworks Spotlight drafting software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential for executing the role's key functions and responsibilities
• Experience in the event technology and production services sector, particularly with corporate events and/or trade shows is advantageous
• Willingness to travel: 25%
• Availability for nights and weekends: 10-20%
• Capability to lift between 5 lbs and 50 lbs without assistance
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, walk, stretch, reach, and utilize a full range of motion
• Manual dexterity required for specific equipment
• Proficient in using a computer keyboard and associated peripherals
• Adequate vision to perform necessary duties and responsibilities
• May be required to demonstrate the ability to distinguish colors on a test strip
