This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and coordinate tactical initiatives to meet regional sales objectives as the technical sales leader for designated products.
• Engage with customers at their locations regarding assigned products and relevant applications, which includes sales tools, demonstration/trial equipment, training, technical background and positioning, as well as product presentations during proposal phases.
• Utilize SFDC to track and document leads, opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activities.
• Ensure that customer and opportunity information is consistently updated and accurate within the CRM system.
• Analyze SFDC data to uncover trends, generate customer insights, and monitor sales performance.
• Augment CRM analysis through regular customer visits and field engagements.
• Train sales personnel to uphold a high level of product knowledge throughout the Sales organization.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Product Management on product development and launch initiatives.
• Offer input on customer workflows and requirements, conduct competitive landscape analysis, monitor market trends, and gather voice-of-customer feedback.
• Suggest product modifications based on performance, customer needs, and market dynamics.
• Advocate for assigned products at conferences, in publications, through presentations, and within relevant industry organizations and networks.
• Establish relationships with key opinion leaders to bolster Sartorius' reputation and credibility.
• Manage technical and quality escalations related to assigned products.
• A bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering, or a related field (higher education is highly advantageous).
• Over 3 years of experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry as an application specialist or scientist in product development.
• Strong technical leadership and exceptional understanding of the technology, applications, and customer workflows related to assigned products.
• A data-driven approach, strong business acumen, and a passion for demonstrating business impact.
• Highly customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to cultivate trusted, effective cross-functional relationships with a collaborative team player attitude.
• Proven capability to work in conjunction with sales to achieve business objectives.
• Successful experience utilizing sales enablement tools and techniques.
• Excellent project management skills; ability to plan effectively and deliver under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
• Practical knowledge and proactive usage of SFDC and other CRM tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
