This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and organize tactical initiatives to meet sales objectives for designated products within the region.
• Engage at customer locations with assigned products and relevant applications, encompassing sales tools, demo/trial equipment, training, technical positioning, and product presentations during the offer stage.
• Utilize SFDC to oversee and document leads, opportunities, customer interactions, and sales efforts.
• Examine SFDC data to uncover trends, generate customer insights, and monitor sales performance.
• Perform regular customer visits and engage in field interactions.
• Educate sales personnel to ensure product knowledge is maintained throughout the Sales organization.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Product Management on activities related to product development and launches.
• Offer insights on customer workflows and requirements, conduct competitive landscape analysis, and provide market/field feedback.
• Suggest product modifications based on product performance, customer needs, and market trends.
• Advocate for assigned products through conferences, publications, presentations, and industry associations.
• Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders to bolster Sartorius' reputation and credibility.
• Manage technical and quality escalations concerning assigned products.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Practical experience in integrating commercial manufacturing systems with the Emerson Delta V control system.
• Over 3 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical sector as an Automation Engineer.
• Technical expertise and a solid understanding of the technology, applications, and customer workflows related to assigned products.
• Data-driven mindset coupled with robust business acumen.
• Customer-focused attitude.
• Capability to foster effective cross-functional relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with sales to achieve business objectives.
• Familiarity with sales enablement tools and methodologies.
• Exceptional project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in planning and executing under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.
• Strong communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
• Practical knowledge and proactive use of SFDC and other CRM tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
