Product Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead initiatives to incorporate security best practices throughout the complete product development lifecycle.

• Safeguard the security and integrity of revenue-generating applications and systems from the design phase to deployment.

• Work in conjunction with development teams to implement, enhance, and tailor automated security analysis tools.

• Contribute to security enhancements and features for production applications and their supporting infrastructure.

• Create security features and integrations for reuse among engineering teams and applications.

• Perform security reviews and offer architectural guidance to meet security requirements.

• Drive efforts to integrate security features into product applications and systems.

• Keep informed of emerging threats and industry best practices related to product security.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in product security, application security, software development, or related areas.

• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10.

• Experience with application security testing tools and technologies, including SAST, DAST, and SCA.

• Proficient in one or more programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, or Golang.

• Experienced with one or more infrastructure automation frameworks, such as Terraform or Ansible.

• Familiar with modern platforms, API, and application frameworks, such as Kubernetes, ArgoCD, or Apollo GraphQL.

• Knowledgeable about major cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
