This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and sustain a network of subject matter expert advisors.
• Plan, execute, and synthesize research studies, which include landscape evaluations and usability assessments.
• Assist in the preliminary exploration of new product domains, industries, and user challenges.
• Conduct usability tests on product features prior to launch and pinpoint enhancements for user experience.
• Collect curriculum feedback from subject matter experts and discover methods to customize or enhance courses.
• Track released features and curriculum utilizing quantitative user data, surveys, user interviews, and session replays.
• Relay research insights back to product and curriculum teams.
• Create product research methodologies and identify automation or process modifications to boost efficiency.
• Source and evaluate subject matter expert advisors.
• Organize research documents and findings, managing research logistics, including scheduling and compensation.
• Assist stakeholders in addressing research insights and developing and user-testing prototypes.
• Maintain relationships with advisors and coordinate communication with Pathstream stakeholders.
• Act as the voice of the customer for teams developing and testing new user experiences.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Learning Experience Design, and go-to-market teams.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in research, data, or insights roles such as consulting, venture or impact investing, user research, or other related work encompassing a diverse range of responsibilities.
• Comfortable working with limited information and knowledgeable in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Experience in a startup environment or within a small team.
• Ownership mindset with the capability to operate within loosely defined or collaboratively created project parameters.
• Proficient in synthesizing research into actionable insights.
• Ability to effectively translate user feedback or data insights to internal teams involved in decision-making.
• Experience in conceptualizing and executing research operations.
• Familiarity with research repositories, survey platforms, user recruitment networks, and transcription and tagging tools.
• Existing knowledge or experience in researching the financial services sector, frontline workers, or both (bonus).
• Experience utilizing the latest AI tools related to product research and design (bonus).
