Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Articulate and convey the product vision in alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

• Prioritize and oversee the management of the product backlog.

• Enhance user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and development teams.

• Work closely with business leaders, engineers, designers, and customers.

• Facilitate sprint planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer insights.

• Partner with architects and developers to assess technical feasibility and scalability.

• Monitor product performance metrics such as KPIs and ROI.

• Provide updates on progress to senior leadership.

• Identify and address risks related to product delivery and quality.

• Oversee products including Angular websites, Flutter mobile applications, payment systems, and CRM platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in product ownership, product management, or a technical position in a tech-driven environment.

• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Basic understanding of APIs, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.

• PSPO, CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or similar certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or Aha! software.

• A strategic mindset focused on customer satisfaction.
