Product Manager – Payroll

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the product strategy and roadmap, guiding it from problem identification to delivery and iteration.

• Lead the discovery process in collaboration with Payroll, Operations, and partner teams.

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams on problem identification and solution development.

• Enhance the visibility and resolution of payroll calculation issues, reporting discrepancies, and partner connectivity challenges.

• Oversee the payroll calculation and reporting framework, ensuring that the outputs are precise, clear, and comprehensible.

• Develop and sustain a comprehensive knowledge base for country-specific payroll and compliance.

• Ensure consistent partner connectivity among payroll partners, facilitating reliable data flows and integrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years in product management, with a background in managing complex B2B SaaS or HR-tech/fintech products: payroll, compliance, integrations, or financial operations.

• Solid foundation in product management principles.

• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management.

• Strong ability to communicate succinctly.

• Experience with platform-level products that involve data models, integrations, and inter-service dependencies.

• Deep operational knowledge of payroll accuracy, reporting dependability, partner connectivity, and customer trust.

• Capability to define and reassess success metrics.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguous, cross-functional settings.

• Experience in a high-trust, autonomous team environment.

• Skillful in leveraging AI as an enhancement without compromising judgment.

• Practical experience with payroll partner integrations or global compliance data is a plus.
