Product Manager Intern, Rewards

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist the product manager in creating, organizing, and monitoring tickets related to changes and enhancements in payments services.

• Ensure that work is documented, prioritized, and advancing through the backlog; proactively follow up on status and identify blockers.

• Collect stakeholder insights, summarize essential information, and prepare materials for provider meetings.

• Address routine internal inquiries utilizing available resources.

• Acquire and apply SQL skills to query payment data.

• Aid in developing dashboards to track payment performance, processing issues, and operational health.

• Identify anomalies in payment processes and compile data for assessments and investigations.

• Maintain documentation regarding payment processes, fee structures, and operational workflows.

• Ensure cross-functional teams remain aligned through clear written updates.

• Engage in agile meetings and collaborate with engineering, operations, compliance, and support teams.

• Convert technical challenges into understandable language and translate business needs into actionable requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.

• A genuine interest in payments, fintech, and intricate financial systems.

• An inherent curiosity and a logical approach to problem-solving.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Comfort with data and a willingness to learn SQL; previous experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Previous involvement in internships, projects, or extracurricular activities related to product development, fintech, data analysis, or startups is desirable.

• Proven experience with Claude or similar large language model tools is required.

• Proficient in utilizing AI to boost productivity, research, and communication.
