Product Manager – Fintech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Lead the achievement of successful results in the product domain alongside Developer and Designer colleagues.

• Create a strategic roadmap collaboratively with peers, aligned with the overarching strategy established by the Senior Director of Product.

• Advocate for the product roadmap across the organization.

• Conduct customer and market research to inform product decisions.

• Spot opportunities and formulate objective business cases.

• Set priorities in accordance with Clio’s mission and annual OKRs.

• Build confidence in investment initiatives and adapt when priorities shift or new insights emerge.

• Maintain ongoing communication with current, former, and potential customers.

• Acquire a thorough understanding of markets and users, supported by quantitative data.

• Guide and mentor fellow Product Managers.

• Collaborate with product leadership to continually enhance the product function.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in fintech, ideally in payments, billing, and accounting, with strong financial literacy skills.

• Proven experience in independently developing a strategic roadmap that has measurable business outcomes.

• History of successes and failures with valuable lessons learned.

• Capability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment without ego.

• Skill in building strong relationships with stakeholders across all organizational levels.

• Experience utilizing data to guide decision-making.

• Ability to thrive and deliver results in situations of ambiguity.

• Empathy for customers and a commitment to a customer-centric approach.

• Eagerness to learn about a new, complex domain and the humility to seek assistance when needed.

• Proven ability to decompose objectives into initiatives and deliver large-scale customer value.

• Demonstrated experience in building and scaling a payments business and/or billing systems.

• Experience in autonomously extracting answers, insights, and data from various data analytics tools.
