Product Manager – Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Convert vague stakeholder requests into organized, engineering-ready work plans

• Take responsibility for daily product delivery across Techstars' internal systems and supporting tools

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from intake and discovery to requirements, sprint management, go-live, and post-launch evaluations

• Manage the Jira backlog, including sprint planning, refinement, prioritization, and resolving blockers

• Create clear product documentation, requirements, tickets, and updates

• Lead change management initiatives as Techstars transitions from legacy systems

• Assist stakeholders in navigating changes, communicate trade-offs, and manage expectations

• Collaborate with operations and program teams to identify workflow challenges

• Maintain documentation that captures context and institutional knowledge

• Monitor feature usage and adoption, identifying opportunities for iteration

• Work across Techstars OS, data systems, founder tools, and integrations

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in product management within software

• Proven experience working across multiple internal tools or platforms

• Capability to translate loosely defined problems or requests into documented, scoped engineering plans

• Strong skills in change management

• Experience collaborating directly with engineers and comprehending technical trade-offs

• Exceptional written communication skills

• Proficient in Jira and agile/scrum methodologies

• Experience in sprint planning, capacity management, and release coordination

• Ability to engage with stakeholders ranging from ELT to program associates

• Capacity to manage multiple workstreams amidst changing priorities

• Ability to define success metrics, instrument features, and assess outcomes
