This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the comprehensive expansion of Alpaca's brokerage infrastructure throughout Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the broader GCC region.

• Identify and lead new product initiatives while managing the current product portfolio across Saudi and GCC markets.

• Enhance live market access in Saudi Arabia and provide brokerage capabilities across equities, Sukuk, ETFs, derivatives, and meet regional market demands.

• Design and launch derivative offerings in Saudi Arabia that comply with local market structures and regulations.

• Establish and maintain direct connections to Tadawul and regional infrastructure.

• Assess, onboard, and integrate partnerships with local brokers.

• Expand the securities lending product line in Saudi Arabia.

• Adapt and replicate the Saudi strategy for the UAE market.

• Oversee the strategy and execution of Sharia-compliant products.

• Analyze ROI, competitive landscape, regulatory requirements, and make build-vs-buy evaluations.

• Draft product requirements and collaborate with engineers to implement compliant programs.

• Enhance workflows and metrics related to settlement, custody, clearing, and brokerage operations.

• Lead customer calls, engage with regulatory bodies, and report to stakeholders.

• Work closely with local operations teams to align Alpaca's global platform with KSA/GCC infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Consulting, or launching a startup, ideally within the financial services or fintech sectors.

• Proven interest and expertise in brokerage, capital markets, or fintech within the Saudi or GCC regions.

• In-depth knowledge of the CMA regulatory framework, Tadawul market structure, and the GCC capital markets landscape.

• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

• Strong business acumen to navigate stakeholder and technology trade-offs within time and budget limitations.
