This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide business value to enhance sales, boost efficiency, and elevate customer satisfaction with high-quality products.
• Grasp the needs of customers and associates to help deliver enterprise products that facilitate an exceptional shopping experience.
• Convert business objectives and end-user requirements into product strategies and effectively communicate product priorities.
• Define goals, metrics, and analytics to assess product value and refine the product backlog.
• Conduct end-user research to uncover user stories and establish the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
• Collaborate with Finance on financial requirements and business plans for emerging opportunities.
• Monitor research, competitive landscapes, industry advancements, and technology platforms to recommend top-tier solutions.
• Ensure alignment of products with company, stakeholder, and end-user priorities.
• Document, review, and verify that quality and change-control standards are adhered to.
• Formulate, test, and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing.
• Create, prioritize, and validate user stories, integrating them into release planning.
• Make daily product decisions that deliver value.
• Identify the advantages, disadvantages, issues, obstacles, dependencies, and value of features and enhancements.
• Engage in standups, iteration planning, product demonstrations, and retrospectives.
• Simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with Engineering, User Experience Designers, and other team members to overcome challenges.
• Champion modern software development practices and advocate for end users.
• Evaluate product team progress, share insights gained, and clarify next steps.
• Manage expectations of cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement product strategy.
• Lead sessions and communicate product strategies across executive leadership, store associates, and other groups.
• Generally report to the Product Management Manager or Senior Manager.
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
• Experience as a Product Manager in a contemporary software development-based enterprise setting.
• Familiarity with modern software development product management practices and agile methodologies, particularly extreme programming (XP) principles such as paired programming, test-driven development, and continuous deployment.
• Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities frequently shift.
• Proven ability to communicate with and influence both functional and technical team members across all organizational levels.
• Experience as part of a collaborative, cross-functional, modern software design and development team.
• Proficiency in creating, prioritizing, and validating user stories.
• Experience in conducting user research and testing to understand user needs.
• Ability to identify goals, metrics, and analytics for measuring product value.
• Experience in conducting competitive research and analysis.
• High school diploma and/or GED required.
• No certifications are necessary.
• Overnight travel is typically less than 10% of the time.
• Remote/Virtual work arrangement available.
