Product Management Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist the product manager in drafting, organizing, and monitoring tickets related to changes and enhancements in the payments service.

• Aid in documenting, prioritizing, and tracking backlog tasks; follow up on progress and identify any blockers.

• Collect stakeholder insights, summarize essential information, and create materials for provider meetings.

• Address routine internal inquiries using the available resources.

• Acquire and utilize SQL skills to query payment data.

• Support the development of dashboards that track payment performance, processing failures, and overall operational health.

• Identify anomalies in payment processes and compile data for reviews and investigations.

• Maintain documentation for payment processes, fee structures, and operational workflows.

• Provide clear written updates to ensure alignment among cross-functional teams.

• Engage in agile meetings with engineering, operations, compliance, and support teams.

• Convert technical challenges into understandable language and transform business needs into actionable requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

• A genuine interest in payments, fintech, and intricate financial systems.

• A natural curiosity paired with a logical mindset.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Comfortable working with data and eager to learn SQL; prior experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Proficient in both written and verbal communication.

• Proven experience with Claude or similar large language model tools is required.

• At ease with using AI to boost productivity, conduct research, and facilitate communication.
