This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead and actively participate in product evaluations for investment firms and portfolio companies throughout the EMEA investment lifecycle, from pre-closing due diligence to post-closing value enhancement and exit strategy preparation.
• Assess product strategy, roadmap, and market defensibility within EMEA regions.
• Evaluate the integration of AI and machine learning within products, articulating their implications for competitive advantage, risk management, and value generation.
• Analyze product-market alignment, customer segmentation, expansion potential, localization requirements, and growth assumptions across EMEA.
• Review the structure of product teams, their delivery capabilities, execution history, and organizational readiness for scaling.
• Conduct executive interviews, engage in customer discovery discussions, and collaborate with expert networks.
• Synthesize documentation, market analysis, customer feedback, and interviews into organized, investment-quality deliverables.
• Relay product and market dynamics to deal teams, investment committees, operating partners, and company leadership.
• Advise product leaders at portfolio companies on strategy, prioritization, localization, and capability enhancement following closure.
• Over 15 years of product management experience, including substantial senior or executive leadership roles (Director, VP, CPO, or similar) at B2B software or SaaS firms operating in EMEA or on a global scale.
• Proven track record of delivering products at scale, managing product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and cross-functional execution in agile settings across regional or international markets.
• Practical experience in building or overseeing AI/ML-driven products, including AI product strategy, build/partner/buy decisions, model risk management, user trust, data protection, and user experience challenges within EMEA.
• Competence in critically assessing AI strategy, including data assets, model dependencies, technical differentiation, competitive risks, responsible AI practices, regulatory exposure, and AI-driven roadmap planning.
• Strong analytical skills utilizing market research, customer data, competitive intelligence, and regional market indicators.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for converting product and technology complexities into clear narratives for non-technical executive audiences.
• Extensive experience in enterprise software, B2B SaaS, and the complete software development life cycle from discovery to delivery and growth.
• Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments across diverse markets and time zones.
• Previous management consulting, investment due diligence, or advisory experience supporting PE-backed companies in EMEA is preferred.
• Understanding of private equity investment models, transaction processes, and value creation frameworks utilized by EMEA investors is preferred.
• Experience with or advising PE-backed software firms through growth, operational enhancements, international expansion, or M&A activities across EMEA is preferred.
• Deep vertical domain knowledge in relevant EMEA sectors such as FinTech, HealthTech, GovTech, LegalTech, MarTech, HR Tech, industrial software, or compliance-focused software is preferred.
• Experience in building or scaling product organizations across distributed or multilingual teams is preferred.
• Exposure to sell-side advisory, exit strategy preparation, or investor-facing product storytelling is preferred.
• Fully remote position available from any location within Europe.
