
Product Engineer β Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
β’ Complete the remaining feature development and either hide or eliminate unfinished functionalities.
β’ Conduct an aesthetics and user experience review.
β’ Resolve outstanding bugs and enhance test coverage.
β’ Strengthen security measures prior to the introduction to real users and collaborate with an external security assessment.
β’ Launch the product to actual alpha users.
β’ Enhance the onboarding process from registration to the first authentic use without requiring extensive guidance.
β’ Offer direct user support and respond to user inquiries via email.
β’ Implement product instrumentation to gain insights into actual user behaviors.
β’ Translate alpha user behaviors into the beta roadmap.
β’ Assist in determining the initial target market: individual professionals, small firms, or enterprises.
β’ Develop systems and documentation in preparation for a larger future team.
β’ Complete and reinforce an orchestration layer that integrates Claude, GPT, and Gemini for tasks requiring judgment.
β’ Proven experience in shipping tangible products using an agentic coding harness such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Aider, or similar tools.
β’ The developed product must be operational and utilized by individuals other than the applicant.
β’ Proficiency in employing an agentic coding harness as the primary development environment, rather than just a resource for code lookup or explanations.
β’ Capability to identify and validate errors generated by agentic coding tools.
β’ Strong skills in code reading and holistic system reasoning.
β’ Excellent judgment in user experience and product assessment.
β’ Competence in completing and supporting launched products.
β’ Familiarity with vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS within a single-file monolith.
β’ Knowledge of Supabase, encompassing Postgres, authentication, and storage.
β’ Understanding of Netlify and deploy-on-push workflows.
β’ Familiarity with APIs from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google.
β’ Experience with Node.js for tooling and testing.
β’ Willingness to work independently without a framework.
β’ Availability for full-time work at 40 hours per week.
β’ Ability to overlap with US morning and/or evening hours.
β’ Paid contract position.
