This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of a product surface from the initial discovery of market problems through to shipping and post-launch evaluation.
• Develop and manage the foundational API for product surfaces.
• Define product requirements through concise documents and discussions instead of depending solely on a prepared ticket backlog.
• Analyze current Salesforce or Athena workflows and decide what should progress in the migration process.
• Create solutions across the product ecosystem tailored for clinicians, coordinators, operators, and families.
• Engage directly with clinicians and users through calls and occasional in-person observations in clinicians’ environments.
• Develop product features in collaboration with agents, determining when tasks can be automated or need manual input.
• Adapt quickly in dynamic situations while maintaining strict compliance with PHI, access control, and features for clinicians.
• Contribute to Nest Health’s model of family-centered, in-home, and virtual care.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in shipping user-facing products.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/React or Python, with a working knowledge of the other.
• Experience in designing user interfaces, not just constructing them.
• Familiarity with AWS or a clear plan to gain this familiarity, ideally in a HIPAA-compliant setting.
• Daily experience working in an agentic coding environment and the ability to communicate effectively in writing.
• Strong product intuition and the capacity to identify core issues behind user requests.
• Design expertise covering information hierarchy, interaction design, and prototyping.
• Sound judgment with respect to PHI, access control, and clinician-facing functionalities.
• Understanding of healthcare data, or the ability to swiftly grasp concepts such as care gaps and PHI.
• Experience with LLM features, offline-first systems, EHR integration, or mobile applications is a plus.
• Submission of a link to a project, product, tool, or teardown that you have created is required.
