Product Engineer, AI-Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of product features from inception to production, starting from a concise problem statement.

• Engage with external partners and providers to secure sandbox access, gather documentation, and finalize integration specifics.

• Develop product and technical specifications alongside AI agents, ensuring accountability for every detail.

• Assign development tasks to AI agents while rigorously reviewing and approving their outputs within a vast codebase featuring intricate components and integrations.

• Conduct tests on delivered features to guarantee the dependability of code that manages financial transactions.

• Collaborate as a peer in the advancement of the AI-first development methodology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong engineering background at a senior level.

• Proven experience managing a complex production system from start to finish, covering architecture, reliability, deployment, and integrations.

• Background in backend engineering or software architecture.

• Familiarity with AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools as a primary part of daily development activities.

• A consistent practice of staying updated with advancements in agentic development.

• A robust sense of ownership coupled with an entrepreneurial approach.

• Capability to independently discern necessary tasks and drive them to completion without needing detailed guidance.

• Proficiency in critically assessing AI-generated outputs, spotting inaccuracies, and selecting optimal solutions.

• Engagement in hands-on product development as an individual contributor.

• This position does not entail team management responsibilities.
