This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +14 more states.
• Create and enhance wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity visual designs that align with product/user requirements for both existing and new experiences.
• Collaborate with the product team to conduct and analyze user research, usability testing, and data to guide design decisions alongside product management counterparts.
• Work in partnership with product management to contribute to roadmap initiatives from discovery to delivery, ensuring high-quality results.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the vision, strategy, and roadmap in line with business objectives and user requirements.
• Team up with fellow designers to enhance existing design patterns and practices for both desktop and mobile versions of our products.
• Apply user-centered design principles and advocate for the user's voice throughout the creation of mockups, prototypes, and delivered features.
• Collaborate with other design team members to establish and maintain visual and experiential consistency across products and features, contributing to the current and future design systems.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth integration of design practices and outputs into daily development processes.
• Articulate design rationale and present solutions to diverse audiences, including both internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead workshops and design sprints to foster alignment and innovation while ensuring projects are completed on schedule and to a high-quality standard.
• Within the initial 3 months, you will fully integrate into a product team, contributing design requirements to ongoing projects. You will create low and high-fidelity prototypes, assist in user research and testing, and help ensure the product vision is realized. Most importantly, you will develop a deep understanding of our customers and excel at translating their challenges into well-defined solutions.
• Proven experience in product design with at least one role in design at a SaaS company, having worked on both mobile and web applications.
• Ability to balance user needs with business goals and technical limitations.
• Strong grasp of visual design principles with a demonstrated application in web and, ideally, mobile applications.
• Developing understanding of user research methodologies, accessibility standards, and mobile design guidelines.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, AI tools like Claude or Paper, and work management platforms such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.
• Capability to contribute to project requirements with minimal supervision, ensuring commitments and deadlines are met or surpassed.
