📋 Description

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to create user-friendly features across Sezzle’s platforms.

• Design wireframes, visual layouts, prototypes, and interaction flows, ensuring a balance of clarity, aesthetics, and usability.

• Contribute to the design system by developing and documenting reusable components in Figma.

• Maintain consistency in design, UI patterns, language, and branding elements across various product components.

• Engage in user research and testing to inform and enhance design work.

• Present design concepts and rationale to the design team and stakeholders, collect feedback, and iterate on solutions.

• Investigate illustration, motion design, and micro-interactions to enrich the user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related discipline.

• Some practical experience in UI/UX or product design for digital products through internships, coursework, freelance work, or personal projects.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in Figma for interface design and prototyping tasks.

• Proven experience with Claude or similar large language model tools; candidates should be adept at utilizing AI to boost productivity, research, and communication.

• Knowledge of contemporary product design trends and fundamental design principles.

• A keen interest in testing and validating designs with users.

• A passion for creating accessible and inclusive experiences.

• Familiarity with scalable UI systems, including color and typography tokens and components.

• Experience in creating and updating UI components within Figma.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while ensuring quality standards are met.

• Strong communicator and team collaborator who is receptive to feedback.

• Online portfolio or PDF demonstrating 3-4 standout digital design projects, including clear explanations of the problems addressed, project requirements, and the design process involved.
