Product Compliance Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and authorize product specifications for websites and mobile applications.

• Analyze compliance risks associated with product features, user journeys, monetization models, and platform obligations.

• Engage in product compliance audits and incident response activities.

• Examine marketing materials and campaigns to ensure adherence to relevant laws and platform guidelines.

• Provide guidance to Marketing teams on advertising, consumer protection, and promotional claims.

• Take part in marketing compliance audits and the execution of corrective measures.

• Track legislative and regulatory changes in pertinent jurisdictions and evaluate their effects on products and business operations.

• Relay regulatory updates and assist in the implementation of necessary modifications.

• Monitor developments related to sanctions regulations.

• Aid in the application of internal sanctions controls.

• Contribute to the creation and delivery of compliance training and onboarding resources.

• Develop and maintain internal compliance guidance, playbooks, and a knowledge base.

• Assess AI-enabled products, features, and third-party AI integrations for compliance with applicable legal standards.

• Support AI risk assessments and the implementation of AI governance measures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law.

• Understanding of consumer protection legislation in both the EU and the USA.

• Familiarity with marketing and advertising compliance regulations in the EU and the US.

• Knowledge of EU and US digital legislation and AI governance.

• Awareness of Apple Store and Google Play guidelines.

• Proficient communication skills in English and Russian, both written and spoken (B2+).
