Product and Platform Engineer – AI Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the architecture and implementation of innovative customer-oriented digital solutions.

• Design and develop frontend user experiences, backend services, cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.

• Create tools, deployment pathways, and reusable building blocks for the platform.

• Shape CI/CD processes, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and observability capabilities.

• Transform successful patterns into shared services, frameworks, libraries, and architectural standards.

• Eliminate friction in the development lifecycle through automation and standardization.

• Serve as the technical lead on significant initiatives and guide through code.

• Collaborate with engineers, product leads, and designers to elevate technical standards.

• Mentor and influence engineers while promoting pragmatic, high-quality delivery.

• Establish engineering architecture, tools, culture, and development practices for SGS digital products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expert proficiency in React/TypeScript on the frontend.

• Extensive experience in developing distributed backends using Go, Python, or TypeScript.

• Hands-on, architectural-level expertise with GCP or AWS.

• Familiarity with Terraform.

• Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience in building modern CI/CD pipelines from the ground up, including GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.

• Capability to design scalable, resilient, and observable systems.

• Experience collaborating closely with Product and Design teams.

• Practical knowledge of monitoring, tracing, testing, and operational excellence.

• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger.

• Over 10 years of experience with a strong background in product engineering and platform/SRE work.

• Builder-first mindset with the ability to make critical technical decisions through hands-on delivery.
