Product Analyst

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Engineering team to establish and uphold event taxonomy, tracking standards, and ensure instrumentation quality.

• Develop and sustain scalable, self-service dashboards for product teams.

• Create and document clear metric definitions to serve as a shared source of truth.

• Enhance measurement processes as the product progresses.

• Leverage AI to generate insights and recommendations based on product signals.

• Guarantee precise and accessible reporting throughout the product analytics stack.

• Design and maintain dbt models for essential product entities and behaviors.

• Contribute to a clean and usable metric layer for business stakeholders.

• Organize and analyze Voice of the Customer inputs from support, churn, NPS, sales feedback, and customer interviews.

• Promote data quality through testing, monitoring, documentation, and automation.

• Provide regular product analytics reports focusing on adoption, engagement, and retention.

• Share analytics presentations with business stakeholders and executives, highlighting findings and recommendations.

• Examine relationships between product behavior, revenue, and retention outcomes.

• Support automated reporting and AI-driven workflows while ensuring metric integrity.

• Develop analytics and customer insights to guide roadmap and investment decisions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product analytics or related fields.

• Proven experience collaborating with digital product teams and influencing decisions through data insights.

• Practical knowledge of how AI is transforming analytics workflows.

• Experience utilizing AI to expedite insight generation, documentation, and dissemination.

• Understanding of guardrails, trust, and the safe implementation of AI.

• Demonstrated ability to build systems that scale across multiple groups.

• Skill in prioritizing, structuring problems, and executing independently while collaborating across teams.

• Experience presenting analyses to product managers and business stakeholders.

• Skill in translating complex findings into actionable recommendations.

• Advanced SQL proficiency required.

• Experience with event-based analytics.

• Familiarity with Mixpanel or similar tools.

• Familiarity with Looker or comparable BI tools.

• Familiarity with Segment or similar tools.

• Familiarity with dbt.

• Preferred exposure to public cloud environments, FinOps/cloud cost management, and enterprise SaaS concepts.
