This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Engage daily with supply chain managers, operations teams, and value stream leaders to identify and prioritize essential supplier parts.
• Collaborate with procurement to escalate part-related issues, secure supplier commitments, and update SAP Mismatch tools along with internal tracking files.
• Enhance supplier schedules to meet material requirements planning (MRP) needs and provide status updates to operations and supply chain managers.
• Ensure accurate material availability data is maintained in SAP and internal tracking tools.
• Validate supplier commitments and input updated information into SAP and tracking files.
• Communicate daily regarding the status of critical parts, associated risks, and any changes.
• Resolve internal barriers related to quality inspections, first article reviews, and engineering modifications.
• Participate in weekly supply chain, site, and business unit meetings, delivering comprehensive part status updates.
• Oversee the RAIL and update EPS and ECS presentations accordingly.
• Manage ship commitment spreadsheets in relation to demand and overdue items.
• Gather and document information on second- and third-source suppliers while driving open actions forward.
• Monitor quality notifications, supplier-related issues, and first article inspections to ensure prompt resolution.
• Analyze processing times for open SRIs, prioritize them, and guarantee timely closure.
• Assist the supply chain team and stakeholders with smaller tasks and ad hoc actions.
• Enhance the turnaround time for problem-part resolution through proactive coordination.
• Identify risks affecting line replaceable unit (LRU) builds and escalate concerns as necessary.
• Optimize communication processes to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Utilize data tracking tools to refine reporting accuracy, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Proven experience in procurement and supply chain functions, with an understanding of supplier commitments and material requirements.
• Strong customer service orientation, capable of supporting internal stakeholders and responding promptly to inquiries regarding parts.
• Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records within tracking tools and enterprise systems such as SAP.
• Effective communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with operations and supply chain personnel daily.
• Ability to identify and escalate part issues, coordinating resolutions across various teams.
• Competence in managing and updating spreadsheets and tracking files, including ship commitments and material status reports.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for managing material and supplier data.
• Experience in aerospace or complex manufacturing environments is an advantage.
• Comfort in working with various data tracking tools and presentations, including EPS and ECS formats.
• Capacity to analyze processing times and prioritize issues based on risk and impact.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple actions and follow-ups concurrently.
