This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Engage daily with supply chain managers, operations teams, and value stream leaders to assess and prioritize essential supplier parts according to business and site requirements.
• Collaborate directly with procurement to address part-related issues, secure supplier commitments, and update SAP Mismatch tools along with internal tracking files.
• Work alongside procurement to enhance supplier schedules, ensuring they align with MRP needs, while providing status updates to operations and supply chain managers.
• Ensure accurate SAP and internal tracking data to enhance visibility of material availability.
• Verify supplier commitments and input updated information into SAP and tracking files.
• Communicate daily regarding the status of critical parts, associated risks, and any changes.
• Remove internal barriers through quality inspections, first article reviews, and engineering adjustments.
• Participate in weekly supply chain, site, and business unit meetings, delivering detailed updates on part statuses.
• Oversee the RAIL and refresh EPS and ECS presentations.
• Manage ship-commitment spreadsheets in alignment with demand and overdue items.
• Gather and document second- and third-source supplier information, driving open actions forward.
• Monitor quality notifications, supplier-related challenges, and first article inspections while facilitating resolutions.
• Record processing times for open SRIs, prioritize issues, and ensure thorough follow-up and closure.
• Assist the supply chain team and stakeholders with smaller actions and ad hoc responsibilities.
• Enhance turnaround time for problem parts by coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively identify risks that could impact LRU builds and escalate concerns as necessary.
• Refine communication processes and utilize data tracking tools to enhance reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Experience engaging with procurement and supply chain functions, with a solid understanding of supplier commitments and material needs.
• Strong customer service orientation, capable of supporting internal stakeholders and promptly addressing part-related inquiries.
• Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records within tracking tools and enterprise systems like SAP.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with operations and supply chain personnel on a daily basis.
• Expertise in identifying and escalating part-related issues while coordinating resolutions across various teams.
• Proficiency in managing and updating spreadsheets and tracking files, including ship commitments and material status reports.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for managing material and supplier data.
• Experience in aerospace or complex manufacturing settings is advantageous.
• Comfortable working with diverse data tracking tools and presentations, including EPS and ECS formats.
• Ability to analyze processing times and prioritize issues based on associated risks and impact.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple actions and follow-ups concurrently.
