Processing Associate, Day Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Clean, categorize, and package pasture-raised eggs sourced from family farms.

• Utilize machinery and robotics to load, categorize, and package eggs efficiently.

• Uphold sanitary conditions to ensure optimal food production standards.

• Adhere to established procedures and conduct quality checks to verify that eggs fulfill required standards.

• Examine supplies and equipment to ensure they are ready for operational use.

• Use powered jacks to transport supplies and products within the warehouse.

• Remain on your feet during 12-hour shifts, involving moving, lifting, loading, and operating machinery.

• Carry out additional duties and production tasks as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English for safety and food quality purposes.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an industrial or similarly structured, physically demanding operational environment.

• Relevant backgrounds may encompass manufacturing, production, food processing, warehousing or distribution, agriculture, automotive, construction, skilled trades, military operations, or similar roles.

• Proven experience in adhering to safety protocols, achieving quality benchmarks, collaborating as a team member, and performing repetitive physical tasks in equipment-driven or operational environments.

• Capability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 60lbs.

• Dedicated to strictly following all personal safety regulations.

• Adaptable and willing to take on additional duties and production tasks as required.

• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, and division.

• Ability to comply with all Vital Farms policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
