This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct projects, encompassing planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource distribution.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to provide impactful solutions within specified timelines and budget constraints.
• Create and uphold process documentation, technical specifications, and project reports.
• Spearhead the design and execution of process control systems for industrial operations.
• Conduct and lead Factory Acceptance Tests, high fidelity simulations, and safety instrumented systems, including managing engineering contractor performance and timelines.
• Identify necessary internal and external resources to achieve system performance objectives.
• Resolve control issues to guarantee operational reliability.
• Facilitate the commissioning of instrumentation and control within the project.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory mandates, and company policies.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
• At least 5 years of experience in process control engineering and automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in project management, including leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% (depending on the project).
• Experience with large capital project execution across various process areas.
• Proficient in PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and other automation platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
• Preferred experience in paper manufacturing, chemical processing, or similar industries.
