This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Develop and nurture relationships within the Private Equity ecosystem to foster strategic, long-term sales growth.
• Identify and engage with Portfolio Operations leads, Operating Partners, and Value Creation directors in targeted funds.
• Utilize an established professional network to gain access to highly restricted PE environments.
• Employ PE-specific financial and operational terminology to establish authority and credibility.
• Navigate PE procurement processes to secure Master Service Agreements.
• Position RRD as a preferred choice for addressing portfolio-company operational inefficiencies and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Broaden RRD’s presence across multiple portfolio companies through successful initial engagements.
• Promote and extend RRD services across additional portfolio assets.
• Introduce operational assessments during pre-acquisition due diligence and ongoing holding phases.
• Utilize assessments to generate leads and secure execution contracts once acquisitions are finalized.
• Collaborate across various functions to deploy specialized delivery teams effectively.
• Drive performance metrics measured by signed MSAs, assessment engagements, and recognized sales revenue.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Previous experience as an ex-management consultant from MBB / Big 4, particularly in Private Equity or Post-Merger Integration practices; or as a former COO, VP of Sales, or VP of Operations in a PE-backed portfolio company; or in professional-services sales directed towards PE funds.
• Must be physically located in a primary or designated secondary PE hub: New York City, Greenwich, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Austin, Miami, or Atlanta.
• In-depth understanding of EBITDA, IRR, Multiple Expansion, and the 100-Day Plan.
• Capability to align RRD’s services with PE financial and operational goals.
• Proficiency in low-volume, high-trust Account-Based Selling strategies and navigating long, complex institutional sales cycles.
• Ability to work across functions to deploy specialized delivery teams.
