Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a functional financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction using a synthetic deal document package.

• Provide an editable Excel workbook that includes live formulas, source citations, and clearly stated assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews on two anonymized models created by other contractors based on specific criteria.

• Write a brief rationale for each peer review performed.

• Fill out a review scorecard.

• Complete around 20–25 hours of work over a period of 1.5–2 weeks.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of overall experience.

• Roughly 2 years of experience in investment banking, specifically in Consumer/Retail or generalist M&A.

• 1–2 years of experience in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently serving as an Associate at a mid-market or large-cap private equity fund.

• Focus on consumer, leisure, or multi-site services, such as fitness clubs, owned vs. franchise models, or multi-site roll-ups.

• Experience in the Paris office or with French deals is preferred.

• Capable of constructing a financial model from source materials without relying on a template.

• Proficient in English.

• Position requires independent contractor engagement.
