Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a functional financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction utilizing a synthetic deal document pack.

• Produce an editable Excel workbook featuring live formulas, source citations, and explicit assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews on two anonymized models submitted by other contractors according to established criteria.

• Offer a brief written explanation for each peer review and fill out a review scorecard.

• Complete approximately 20–25 hours of work within a timeframe of 1.5–2 weeks.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of overall experience.

• Around 2 years of investment banking experience in Consumer/Retail or generalist M&A.

• 1–2 years of experience in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently serving as an Associate at a mid-market or large-cap private equity fund.

• Preference for candidates with a focus on consumer, leisure, or multi-site services.

• Experience in the Paris office or with French deals is preferred.

• Ability to construct a financial model from source documents without relying on a template.

• Proficient in English.

• Independent contractor status required.

• Must reside in one of the following countries: Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, or the Netherlands.
