Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a functional financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction utilizing a synthetic deal document package.

• Provide an editable Excel workbook that includes live formulas, source references, and clearly stated assumptions.

• Conduct a peer review of two anonymized models from fellow contractors using established criteria.

• Offer a brief written justification for each peer review and complete a review scorecard.

• Allocate approximately 20–25 hours of work over a span of 1.5–2 weeks.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of overall experience.

• Around 2 years of investment banking experience in Consumer/Retail or generalist M&A, preferably in Paris, London, or other European locations.

• 1–2 years of experience in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently holding an Associate position at a mid-market or large-cap private equity fund.

• Familiarity with a consumer/leisure/multi-site services focus, including fitness clubs, owned vs. franchise operations, or multi-site roll-ups.

• Preference for candidates with Paris office or French deal experience.

• Capability to construct a financial model from source documents without relying on a template.

• Proficient in English.

• Must be able to work as an independent contractor.

• H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
