Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a functional financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction using a synthetic deal document package.

• Produce an editable Excel workbook featuring live formulas, source references, and clearly defined assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews of two anonymized models created by other contractors based on established criteria.

• Provide a concise written rationale for each peer review and complete a review scorecard.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of overall experience.

• Around 2 years of experience in investment banking within the Consumer/Retail sector or generalist M&A, preferably in Paris, London, or other European locations.

• 1–2 years in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently holding an Associate position at a mid-market or large-cap PE fund.

• Preferred focus on consumer/leisure/multi-site services, including fitness clubs, owned versus franchise models, or multi-site roll-ups.

• Experience in the Paris office or involvement in French deals is preferred.

• Capability to construct a financial model from source documents independently without a template.

• Proficient in English.

• Estimated workload of about 20–25 hours over a span of 1.5–2 weeks.

• Must operate as an independent contractor.

• H1-B or STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
