Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a functional financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction using a synthetic deal document pack.

• Provide an editable Excel workbook containing live formulas, source citations, and defined assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews of two anonymized models from fellow contractors based on a specified set of criteria.

• Write a brief rationale for each peer review and complete a review scorecard.

• Engage in approximately 20–25 hours of work over a period of 1.5–2 weeks.

• Contribute to projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of total experience.

• Around 2 years of investment banking experience in Consumer/Retail or generalist M&A, preferably in Paris, London, or other European locations.

• 1–2 years of experience in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently serving as an Associate at a mid-market or large-cap PE fund.

• Preference for candidates with a focus on consumer/leisure/multi-site services, including fitness clubs, ownership versus franchise, or multi-site roll-ups.

• Experience in the Paris office or involvement in French deals is preferred.

• Capability to construct a financial model from source documents without relying on a template.

• Proficiency in English.

• Must be able to function as an independent contractor.

• H1-B or STEM OPT candidates will not be supported.
