Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a functional financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction utilizing a synthetic deal document package.

• Produce an editable Excel workbook featuring live formulas, source references, and clearly stated assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews of two anonymized models created by other contractors based on a predefined set of criteria.

• Offer a brief written explanation for each peer review conducted.

• Complete a review scorecard as part of the evaluation process.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of overall professional experience.

• Approximately 2 years of investment banking experience in Consumer/Retail or generalist M&A.

• 1–2 years of experience in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently serving as an Associate at a mid-market or large-cap private equity fund.

• Focus on consumer/leisure/multi-site services, such as fitness clubs, distinctions between owned versus franchise operations, or multi-site roll-ups.

• Preference for candidates with experience in the Paris office or French deals.

• Capable of building a financial model from source documents without relying on a template.

• Proficient in English.

• Availability for approximately 20–25 hours over a period of 1.5–2 weeks.

• Must be eligible to work as an independent contractor.

• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible for consideration.
