Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a comprehensive financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction based on a synthetic deal document package.

• Deliver an editable Excel workbook that includes live formulas, source references, and clearly stated assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews of two anonymized models created by other contractors, adhering to established criteria.

• Provide a concise written rationale for each peer review and complete the associated review scorecard.

• Dedicate approximately 20–25 hours of work over a period of 1.5–2 weeks.

• Engage in projects that utilize human expertise to train and enhance AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of overall professional experience.

• Around 2 years of investment banking experience in the Consumer/Retail sector or generalist M&A.

• 1–2 years of experience in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently serving as an Associate at a mid-market or large-cap private equity fund.

• Focus on consumer, leisure, or multi-site services, such as fitness clubs, distinguishing between owned vs. franchise, or multi-site roll-ups.

• Preference for candidates with experience in the Paris office or French deals.

• Ability to construct a financial model from source documents independently, without relying on a template.

• Proficiency in English.

• Capability to produce editable Excel workbooks featuring live formulas, source references, and outlined assumptions.

• Must be eligible to work as an independent contractor.

• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported.
