Privacy Specialist – OneTrust

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, support, enhance, and perpetually refine OneTrust along with other platforms related to privacy, legal, compliance, governance, and workflow.

• Set up and manage workflows, assessments, forms, questionnaires, dashboards, and reports.

• Handle application upgrades, releases, testing, change management, user access, security roles, and permissions.

• Assist in the operations of privacy programs, encompassing PIAs, DPIAs, Data Subject Rights workflows, vendor assessments, AI governance assessments, and compliance tasks.

• Convert business requirements into application configurations and workflow solutions.

• Create and execute process enhancements, automation prospects, and operational efficiencies.

• Generate reports, dashboards, metrics, and analytics that support privacy and compliance goals.

• Facilitate integrations, data synchronization, automation projects, troubleshooting, data quality, governance, and the integrity of platform data.

• Offer application support, troubleshoot problems, coordinate resolutions, and provide user guidance, training, and knowledge transfer.

• Act as a liaison among privacy, legal, compliance, business, and technical teams.

• Assist with audits, compliance evaluations, and regulatory inquiries related to privacy technology platforms.

• Lead initiatives focused on moderately to highly complex privacy technology and business process improvements.

• Mentor and support less experienced team members.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for privacy applications and operational processes.

• Manage multiple priorities while adhering to business and regulatory deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, Legal Operations, Privacy, Compliance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting enterprise SaaS applications.

• Experience in supporting privacy, legal, governance, compliance, risk management, or workflow platforms.

• Proficiency in configuring assessments, workflows, reporting, or process automation tools.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Prior experience administering or supporting OneTrust is preferred.

• Familiarity with privacy and data protection regulations such as GDPR, CPRA, and other global privacy frameworks is preferred.

• Background in supporting Data Subject Rights, privacy assessments, consent management, data governance, or vendor risk processes is preferred.

• Knowledge of APIs, integrations, Power Platform, ServiceNow, Jira, Salesforce, Workday, or similar enterprise applications is preferred.

• OneTrust certifications or comparable privacy technology credentials are preferred.
